Wow! I’m so behind. I have been so busy this past month, and have been slacking hardcore on updating! But, I’m back and will be posting more than ever! Especially, since SO much has been happening recently in the Disney Community! So let’s kick it off with an extra full subscription unboxing!
Note: I have decided to end my subscription to Mail the Magic.-so it will not be featured in this post. I wasn’t super impressed with the box from the start, but gave it a few months to see if it would improve. Unfortunately, for my personal preference it did not, and every month it just seemed like a few months behind of the season. I’m opening to maybe trying them in the future, but for now I’m looking for any other subscription boxes worth checking out. If you subscribe to any other Disney related boxes that you love please let me know!
April Unboxing!

Mickey’s Mystery Box
This box was pretty simple this month. There was nothing super impressive about it, but I’m still pleased with what I received.

Inside the box: Mickey Corn Holders, Mickey Re-Usable Ice Cubes, Walt Disney World binder Clips, Remy Pin, Rapunzel figure Hei Hei, Maui, and Genie Jafar Tsum Tsum
Rating: 7/10
Final Thoughts: I always love how much stuff is put into these boxes, especially because it’s so cheap! I also love that the put things inside the boxes you can use in your every day life to make it a little bit more magical. Now, I already got the corn holders in the last box I got from Mail the Magic, but I know a lot of people in my life who love Disney and Corn on the Cob that I think I can find someone who will love it. The re-useable ice cubes are adorable. They’re a great way to keep your drink cool and cute for the summer. I use binder clips all the time at work, so having these Walt Disney World ones is a great way to make my every day work life a little bit more magical. When I opened the box and saw the Hei Hei and Maui tsum tsums I got very excited because I love Moana. Then when I felt another soft tsum tsum in the box I really hoped for Moana, but I really, really, really was wishing for Pua because he’s so adorable, however, when I pulled it out I got Genie Jafar which was a bit disappointing. I was hoping they were going to stick with the Moana themed tsum tsums so having Jafar in there threw me for a bit of a loop. The Rapunzel figure is very cute, but I’m just not a fan of the 2D version of her. She just doesn’t look like herself. It’s more like Disney realized using their new way of animation throws off how the Princesses look when they’re all together so all the new Princesses get changed to 2D versions for merchandising purposes. The Remy pin is a special edition pin, which will be great to add to my now ever growing pin collection. I was never interested in pin collecting or trading before, but now that I have a nice growing collection who knows?!

Mickey Monthly
I was honestly a little bit disappointed with this box. I feel like recently they have just been giving out almost all Beauty and the Beast stuff, and I’m just over it. Like I’ve said before I’m not a fan a Beauty and the Beast so getting all this merchandise for it isn’t super exciting…at least for me.

Inside the box: Ms. Potts and Chip salt and pepper shakers, Gummy Spiders, Mickey Mouse Rice Krispy Treat.
Rating: 3/10
Final Thoughts: I was not to thrilled with this box. I’ll be honest the only thing I actually enjoyed from it was the Gummy Spiders, but those alone a not worth the $60 I paid for the box. The Spiders themselves are very good, and the detail in the candy is impressive they look like actual spiders (which is disgusting) just weird colors and translucent, but they were very tasty. The Ms. Potts and Chip salt and pepper shakers are cute, but with them being all white it’s hard to tell who they are. You have to go off shape alone. If they were painted they might have been better, and not as disappointing. I’ll be honest I am not a huge fan of Disney Rice Krispy Treats. They taste too much like the packaged ones you get at the store. They don’t taste fresh like when you make them homemade. I was pretty disappointed with this one because with it being just a plain treat I could really taste how stale it was. I ate both of the ears and had to throw the rest away because it just did not taste good!
May Unboxing
April's was a hit and a miss when it comes to last month’s boxes. I really enjoyed opening both boxes this month.

Mickey Monthly
After a few rocky months this boxes was a lot better! It seems like they’re finally getting over the BATB stuff and actually putting in more things that cater to everyone. I was very nervous to open this box at first, but it turns out I had no reason to be!

Inside the box: Minnie Mouse beach towel, Walt Disney World 2017 key chain, some kind of magnet, and Mickey Mouse Coconut Patties.
Rating: 7/10
Final Thoughts: First off the Minnie Mouse Beach towel is very cute. It makes me want to go straight to the beach (or the pool since I don’t live anywhere near a beach) and spend the day out in the sun know that summer is approaching. I really like the Sorcerer Mickey Mouse keychain. It’s nice to see that both Disneyland and Walt Disney World are going with the same theme in the parks this year. I’m a huge fan of the coconut patties. I love coconut macaroons, and these taste exactly like them, except they aren’t baked. This treat makes up for the awful Rice Krispy Treat from last month. The only thing I’m confused on is the magnet. I’ve been staring at it, and can’t figure out what it is. It looks kind futuristic, so maybe Tomorrowland themed? But, the car in it looks like Sykes car from Oliver and Company…I just can’t figure it out!

Mickey’s Mystery Box

Inside the box: Sequenced Minnie Mouse hat, Pirate Medallion Necklace, Aladdin mug, Magic Band Clips, Heimlich and Kakamora tsum tsum
Rating: 8/10
Final Thoughts: The Minnie Mouse hat is probably my favorite thing from this box! It’s so pretty with the pinks and the purples. I’ve honestly never seen a Minnie Mouse hat before either. Anytime I’ve gone to the parks I’ve seen Mickey Mouse Hats and Minnie Mouse headbands, so getting these ears was a nice surprise. I’ve gone from owning no Mickey Ears ever to know having three. As a super fan of Pirates of the Caribbean (I’m currently listening to the new soundtrack as I write this) I love the medallion. It’s not exactly like the one in the first film-that’s alright because obviously I already own that one-but it’s still really cool and will be a great accessory to my Pirate Flannel DIY I did earlier this year. The Aladdin mug is very cute. The characters a bit more emoji looking, but they’re still super cute. As someone who hasn’t been to Walt Disney World in oh about 18 years, I’m not totally familiar with the Magic bands, so the clips are a little bit confusing to me. I think they’re just added accessories to put on your band, but there’s a Lion King one so obviously I’ll be using it whenever I go next. Just a few more tsum tsums to add to the ever-growing collection. I can always count on there being at least one tsum tsum in every box so if that’s what you’re looking for than this is a great subscription service. This month’s tsum tsums feature A Bug’s Life Heimlich and a Kakamora from Moana. Lately, I’ve been very interested in the Kakamoras from Moana because they’re just such interesting characters so having tsum tsum of one is very fun.
