There are many things that make the Disney Parks stand out from all the other theme parks in the world. It’s true they have some of the best rides, but they also get lots of attention for their food. They don’t just serve the basic carnival or sports arena concisions, and the new Halloween themed food is no exception. There are so many different treats out for the seasons it’s hard to try them all in just one trip.
Not only has California Adventure received its first Halloween overlay ever, but it also seems to have some of the absolutes best snacks you’re going to want to try!

The Bat Wing Raspberry Sundae available at Clarabelle's Hand-Scooped Ice Cream on Buena Vista Street is goth-aesthetic sundae as a white chocolate-raspberry swirl ice cream with raspberry splatter, blood-red sprinkles, whipped cream, and a bat wing cookie. If you’re an ice cream lover or just need a way to cool down from the unseasonable hot Southern California weather than this sundae will hit the spot.

If your not in the mood for a giant sundae and want something a little more on the go than the Spider Silk macaron ice cream sandwich also Clarebelle’s may work better for you. The dessert consists of two massive black macarons, with charcoal-tart cherry spun ice cream, raspberry sauce, and sprinkled with popping candy on top is quickly becoming a seasonal favorite.
The spooky Cozy Cone over in Cars Land usually has a ton of great snacks all year long, but they are really getting into the spirit with some all new Halloween themed ones as well.

The Slow Burnin' Mac & Cheese cone can be found over at the Cozy Cone Motel at Cone #3. This cone is made with spicy red pepper & cheese and is topped with crushed chile-cheese puffs (aka Flamin' Hot Cheetos), completely wrapped up in a black cauldron bread cone. If you aren’t a big fan of spicy foods this may not be the snack for you. However, if you enjoy the heat you’ll enjoy the nice snap within in the chesse, and the surprise spicy crunch of the chile-puffs.

The Slow Burnin’ Mac & Cheese isn’t the only snack at the Cozy Cone. If you’re looking for something sweet the Spoke-y Cone Macaron is for you. This new treat looks like the scary Cozy Cones themselves scary faces and all. The macaron is filled with marshmallow buttercream and candy corn or as I like to call it a cavity just waiting to happen. The amount of sugar and sweetness just makes my stomach hurt just thinking about it. If you aren’t a fan of candy corn like myself this probably won’t be the macaron for you, but don’t worry there are plenty of them through out the park you’re bond to find the one for you.

The final treat at the Cozy Cone can be found over at the Popcone. This Junkyard JamBOOree Mix is the perfect mix of salty and sweet. With a variety of different popcorn flavors you can personalize this snack to your own taste. You can mix your favorite flavored popcorn with optional “nuts and bolts.” (green M&M’s, candy corn, chocolate-covered pretzels, Boston baked beans and more!). This is the perfect group snack to take on the go as while you wait in line for Radiator Spring Racers.

The only thing better than ice cream is an ice cream macaron sandwich and the Mummy Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich at Schmoozies over in Hollywood Land is arguably more cute than creepy. This almond macaron shell with dark chocolate “eyes” drizzled with white chocolate and filled with rainbow sherbet. The white shell is perfect for the mummy’s wrapping and the pink ice cream is a symbol of the ripe flesh being preserved.

Over at the Cove Bar in Paradise Pier you can get not only snacks but some special drinks as well. If you’re a nacho fan and aren’t afraid to turn up the heat than the“Ghost”-ly Pepper Nachos are perfect. These nachos consist of Ghost pepper-marinated flank steak with green tortilla chips, topped with ghost pepper cheese sauce, black beans, and avocado-tomatillo salsa. When we say these nachos are hot we mean it. Ghost peppers are some of the hottest peppers around so the ghost pepper cheese and hot green salsa together may scare you away! If you need something to wash down those nachos (and are 21+) you may enjoy the new spooky sweet Halloween Specialty Cocktail. Just beware while drinking this gothic drink, as you never know who may be watching. This vodka and Chambord concoction has a dark purple hue with a glowing ice cube and a lychee and maraschino cherry garnish"eyeball" floating inside.
If you find yourself spending the day over at the Disneyland side and need Halloween pick me up than there are plenty of sweet treats for you. The Disney Parks are known for their Mickey shaped Rice Krispy Treats and different caramel apples, so you know there an abundance of Halloween themed ones throughout.

The Jolly Holiday Bakery is known for it’s yummy baked goods and delicious macarons. This Halloween Mickey-Shaped Mummy Macaron is bound to be just as good. This white chocolate macaron is covered in white chocolate drizzle and filled with a salty sweet chocolate-salted caramel filling.

Over at the French Market in New Orleans Square the Boogie Man is making his mark. The Oogie Boogie dessert is perfect for any cake lover. This ghoulish, oozing Oogie treat offers up a dark chocolate cup filled with layers of dark chocolate mousse, green pound cake and chocolate cookie crumbles and crawling with gummy worms. Even the Boogie Man himself will enjoy this sweet treat.

Finally, the Spider Parfait can be found through out the park. This decadent delight is full of moist chocolate cake, stuffed with vanilla and chocolate pudding, with a thick layer of ooey-gooey ganache, and is topped with sour gummy spider. This classic treat is bound to please any chocolate lover out there.
