Jack Skellington Minnie Ears

Recently, I’ve been really into making Minnie Mouse ears. Which is very weird because I don’t wear them when I go to the parks. Headbands hurt my head after a while, but who knows maybe in the future I’ll wear these next time I go to the parks during the Halloween season. If not I can always use them as awesome wall art. But, nonetheless I’m super happy with how they came out. I think for being one of the first pair of ears I’ve ever made I think they turned out amazing!

What You’ll Need:

  • Wire

  • Scissors

  • Hot Glue

  • Headband

  • Halloween Flowers

  • Jack Skellington Face (seen in previous DIY)

  • Jack Skellington Bowtie (seen in previous DIY)

  1. Cut wire to the size you want and form it into circle.

  1. Then cut another wire identical to the first one so you now have two circles to form Minnie Ears

  1. Next, I hot glued black fabric strips I cut out from the leaves that were attached to the flowers on to the ears to cover up the wire.

  1. Position where you want your ears to sit on your headband before gluing them on.

  1. Then, I used the mini branches from the flower and glued them on to the fabric of the ears. This gave the ears a bit more dimension.

  1. Carefully, glue your flowers onto both the front and backside of the headband.

  1. Find the perfect spot for your Jack head, and hot glue him on.

  1. Finally, you’ve found the best spot for Jack place his bowtie somewhere near by! I used two bowties and places one on each ear!
