What You’ll Need:

  • Black Felt

  • White Paint

  • Scissors

  • Pencil

  • Jack Skellington bat bowtie template

  1. Print out bat bowtie template to whatever sizes you’d like. Feel free to use the template I used above. (I’m using mine for an upcoming Jack Skellington Minnie Mouse ears DIY coming up).

  1. Cut out template and lay it on the felt. Using your pencil trace out the bowtie on the felt.

  1. Carefully, cut the pattern out of the felt.

  2. Use your pencil to outline the bats eyes and the strips on the wings.

  1. Use your white paint to carefully fill in the eyes. I used Puffy Paint because the tip is small and makes controlling the paint a little easier. If you aren’t using Puffy Paint use a small tipped paintbrush to carefully paint on the details.

  1. Give the eyes an hour or so to dry than repeat the process with the wings.

  2. Let the paint dry completely, and you’re done!
