So many fun things happened in the world of Disney this July. Although, I wasn’t able to experience D23 or Disneyland’s Birthday in person, getting these magical boxes really helped me be apart of the Disney Magic.

1. Mickey’s Mystery Box
This month I did something exciting and upgraded my box size from the Spoonful of Sugar box (the smallest box) to the Fairest of Them All box (the medium size box). With an all new website design this subscription box now offers clothing and phone cases along with all the other fun Disney items you could possibly want!

Inside the box: Minnie Mouse Scarf, Bambi Mug, Rapunzel’s Tower Salt and Pepper Shakers, Mickey Mouse Outfit Ornament, and Lady Termaine (Evil Step Mother) tsum tsum.
Rating: 10/10
Final Thoughts: I loved this box so much. Everything in it was so cute it’s hard to pick what my favorite thing was. The Bambi mug is so adorable I sometimes find myself just randomly staring at it when I see it on the shelf. The artwork of it is wonderful featuring Bambi and Flowers first meeting, and Thumper on the other side. What I really like about this mug is that it came with a lid. I’ve never seen a mug that came with a top on it. It’s just made of a thin coat of silicone and won’t stay on if you knock it over, but it’s perfect to use if you’re carrying a full cup of tea down the stair to help avoid spilling it as you walk. The Minnie Mouse scarf is very subtle, but also very lovely. It’s nice and light and a very nice dark blue color. Each end features half of retro Minnie’s face. Everything from the flower on her hat all the way to the tip of her nose is outlined in black. Her hat is a bright pink full of sequence. I love Disney clothes that aren’t obvious Disney. Things that normal people would look at and not fully understand, but a Disney fan could spot a mile away, and that’s why I like it so much. As a huge fan of Tangled I’ve always loved the way Rapunzel’s tower was designed. What cool about these Disney salt and pepper shakers is they usually have a small magnet that attaches the two halves together. However, the magnets aren’t very strong so the potential of the top of the tower falling off the base is very likely. Luckily, I’m going to be using it for the purpose it’s intended for because I already have perfectly good salt and pepper shakers, so I stuck the two ends together with some hot glue, and now have the perfect Tangled knick-knack. It’s always nice to see a new tsum tsum thrown into these boxes. I know so many people who are collecting these cute things that I always a small gift to give them. This Lady Tremaine tsum tsum from Cinderella is actually pretty cute even if she is evil. During the month of July this subscription box was offering their Christmas in July special, when you ordered a new box in July they sent you a Disney Ornament for free. Since, I changed my box type in July I was able to get one of these cute freebies. I received the Mickey Mouse wardrobe ornament, which has his pants and shoes hanging from a Mickey Hanger. This is going to be a great addition to my Christmas tree this year.

2. Mickey Monthly
First, let me start off by saying the Rice Krispy treat from last month’s box was WAY better than just the plan one from a few months ago. This box has always been more practical items, with the occasional treat or fun item thrown in every once in a while, as opposed to the other box which is usually more fun everyday items. That doesn’t mean it’s worse than the other it’s just all depending on your taste.

Inside the Box: Mickey’s Really Swell Diner Pasta, Hidden Mickey Jar, Mickey Shortbread Rounds, Collector Packs Park Series 17 (aka villain pack) featuring Captain Hook, Gaston, and Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear
Rating: 8/10
Final Thoughts: I’m very excited to try out the Mickey shaped pasta because it reminds me of the character shaped Kraft Mac’n’Chesse my mom made me when I was a kid. There’s something about special shaped pasta that makes it taste better than just plan angel hair or elbow macaroni. Now, I just have to figure out what to make with it. The Hidden Mickey jar is awesome because the Mickey’s aren’t super obvious since they are just a repetition of his ears throughout the jar. There are so many different things you can put in this jar; you can use it in the kitchen to hold spices, use it to hold jewelry, or anything else that can fit in it. I always love the little snacks that come in this box. It takes me a while to finish just one snack from the box in the past that I don’t think I would ever be able to finish just a snack box in just a month before the next ones arrive. These shortbreads are nice and small, and will be a great quick snack for anytime you getting hangry. Disney Blind Bags have become a large fab happening online. So many people are unwrapping these bags to find out which character they’re going to get. I had never heard of this Villains Collector Packs Park bag before. Most the ones I’ve seen online have either been pin related or key chains, so it was interesting to see this pack. It’s not what I was expecting. I thought there would only be one large villain inside, but instead there were three small ones. I honestly would have rather there only be one item in the bag because Gaston, Captain Hook and Lots-O weren’t just small they were tiny. It’s almost not worth it at all because they’re so small it’d be hard to display them anywhere without them eventually getting lost.
